General Information about Looking Glass Shows
A "Glass Show" is similar to an "Antique Show" in that there are a number of booths with individual dealers offering merchandise for sale. In the case of a "Glass Show," the type of merchandise is limited to glass, china and pottery items, usually further restricted as to date of manufacture and country of origin. In the case of Looking Glass Productions, we limit the merchandise to American-made products. All shows have a number of things in common:
- Quality dealers from all across the U.S.
- American-made Depression Glass from manufacturers such as Jeannette, Indiana, Hocking, McKee, Federal, etc.
- American-made "Elegant" Glass from manufacturers such as Fostoria, Heisey, Cambridge, Tiffin, Morgantown, etc.
- American-made Pottery from makers like Bauer, Weller, Rookwood, Van Briggle, etc.
- American-made China from manufacturers like Franciscan, Hull, Homer Laughlin, Vernon Kilns, etc.
- Door Prizes
- Special Guests & Guest Authors
- Displays of items from private collections
